Claims are handled by Century our Managing General Agent in the British Virgin Islands having the authority to approve settlements irrespective of the settlement amount. Therefore, we are in a unique position to reduce the turnaround time for claim settlements and to exercise some discretion where there are coverage issues.

Emergency Tips – Auto Accident
- Verify yourself and passengers for injuries
- Try to remain as calm as possible
- If able, get out of the vehicle as quickly as possible
- Report the accident to the Police immediately and contact the Ambulance is necessary
- Turn on your emergency/hazard lights
- If you have a camera or cell phone take pictures of the scene and vehicle(s) involved
- Avoid leaving the scene of the accident unless you are in need of medical assistance
- Get information on vehicle(s) involved, the name(s) of the other driver(s), passenger(s), and witnesses
- Do not admit to liability at the scene, instead advise Police and persons involved that you will report the claim to Century who represents your insurance company.
Submitting an Auto Claim
- Contact us directly or complete a Claim Form and submit to Century as soon as possible by email and/or fax at 284-494-6133.
- Write a statement describing the incident and submit with your Claim Form.
- Obtain 2 estimates for the cost or repairs to your vehicle.
- Provide the Claims Officer with location of your vehicle for assessment of the damage(s) and inspection picture(s)
- Secure the vehicle as much as possible to avoid further damage and ensure its safety. (e.g. Tow the vehicle to a secure area (your home or garage), we will pay for towage and storage fee).
- Provide name and contact details for owner(s) and driver(s) for other vehicles involved.
- Provide name, age and contact details of injured persons.
- Upon submittal of your claim our Claims Officer will advise you of coverage information and benefits.
- Upon a mutual agreement on a settlement a cheque will be issued to the policy holder and/or third party claimant.
Claim for Property Loss
- Contact the appropriate authorities (e.g. Fire Station, Ambulance, Police)
- Ensure you protect any item(s) from further damage.
- Contact us directly or complete a Claim Form and submit to Century as soon as possible by email and/or fax at 284-494-6133.
- Write a statement describing the incident and submit with your Claim Form.
- A claim officer will visit your property for assessment of the damages and take Inspection pictures.
- Do not discard any damaged property unless instructed by Century or the Authorities as a safety measure. Instead amass all damaged property for inspection by the Claim Officer.
- Along with submitting a completed Claim Form you will have to submit 2 contractor estimates of the cost of repairs to your property and/or an inventory list for damage or loss of insured building content(s).
- A Claims Officer will advise you of coverage information and benefits once your claim has been submitted.
- Upon a mutual agreement on a settlement a cheque will be issued.
